Michael’s career in the office furniture industry spans over twenty five years with the initial years spent at flagship office furniture dealerships and today as President and Founder of TotalOffice, which he established in 1997.
Over the years Michael has developed vast industry experience, product knowledge and the conviction that you earn a client’s business through trust, dedication and utmost professionalism. Michael takes an active role overseeing projects, developing new project opportunities and providing ongoing assistance, insight and support where needed.
Michael and his wife are recent empty nesters and have moved back into the city from the burbs and have been enjoying the day-to-day pulse of urban living.
Carly graduated with honors from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She has the superior skill set, energy, and passion to provide dynamic design solutions for every project, no matter the scope. Carly actively leads the design department in seeing that all requirements of the project are fulfilled - from initial programming and design development to site verification and installation.
At TotalOffice she enjoys the constant collaboration and diversity among clients, architects, project managers, and vendors. Having worked on all aspects of large and small scale projects, she has the ability to take on any opportunity that presents itself to achieve a seamless, innovative, and well executed space. Carly has served as chair of the Battle of the Biotech Bands event for the past 5 years and a committee member of the IIDA New England Design Awards.
Carly enjoys running, anything outdoors in the beautiful New England seasons, and good wine. She’s still discovering new places in the city with her friends, family and new little baby.
Rick is a seasoned Project Manager with over 12 years of industry experience, who takes personal interest in providing superior service to his clients. He brings unmatched attention to detail by ensuring accurate management of all aspects of a project. Through overseeing some of the most demanding projects at TotalOffice, he has honed his skill for quick and efficient problem solving. Rick has a “can do” attitude toward every client and project, ensuring a timely and precise end result.
After a long week of hard work, you will find Rick enjoying the best view of Boston while out fishing on the harbor with his family.
Nick joins TotalOffice from the construction industry, bringing with him valuable knowledge attained while working as a Project Manager on complex commercial projects. His role at TotalOffice includes account management and business development responsibilities.
Nick’s outgoing personality paired with an enthusiasm toward every endeavor, not only helps to bring in new clients and projects, but strengthens existing relationships. With his personal skills and knowledge obtained through education and work experience, he is able to effectively fulfill clients’ needs. Nick is a strong contributor in the future growth and success of TotalOffice.
When not in the office, you will find Nick out on the boat reeling in the big ones or hitting the links with his friends and family.
Danielle obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interior design, with Magna cum Laude honors, from Appalachian State University. Following graduation, she moved to Miami, FL and gained valuable experience in business administration and account managing. After three years of hot and humid weather; she decided it was time to make her longtime dream of moving to Boston a reality. The Project Administrator role at TotalOffice is the perfect fit for her experience and education; allowing her to meld her passion for interior design with her skills in business administration. Danielle’s versatile skill set and multi-tasking abilities allow her to help on every aspect of a project: from conception to completion. She collaborates with the Project Managers and Designers to complete all administrative project details.
She is an avid traveler who enjoys cooking and snowboarding.
Katie attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design. She began her career as a designer for an office furniture manufacturer, where she gained industry experience and product knowledge. She knows the importance of effective workplace design and implements this on every project at TotalOffice.
She is focused on problem solving and strives to invent design solutions that are both aesthetically and functionally successful. She loves to work in a creative environment and values the collaboration that comes from working with clients and fellow designers.
Outside of work Katie likes to get out and explore new surroundings, traveling often. Otherwise she’ll be found spending time with friends and family and cheering on her favorite teams.
Nicole graduated from Mount Ida College with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Her prior experience in Residential Design and Sales has allowed her to hone her ability to identify and facilitate her client’s needs. Her enthusiasm for design paired with her personable demeanor has helped her succeed in the industry thus far and led her to TotalOffice.
Nicole works closely with clients and designers to establish and understand project goals which she executes by applying her design and problem solving skills. She advises on ideal solutions for every space, budget and desired outcome.
When Nicole is not working, she enjoys crafting away or planning for her next adventure.
Krysta joins TotalOffice from the startup world where she managed tenant design and interior fit outs for accelerating biotech companies. Coming from a startup, she wore several hats including project management, facilities maintenance, and producing marketing & sales collateral. Her strong attention to detail and ability to balance many projects allows her to excel as a Project Manager at TotalOffice. She is passionate about getting to know each client and understanding their needs. With a dedicated & positive attitude, Krysta contributes as a strong team player throughout all aspects of a project.
Outside of the office, Krysta enjoys staying active and being outdoors. You will see her walking around the Charles River with her adorable rescue dog. On weekends she likes to venture to New Hampshire to visit family and friends.
Greg brings a fresh perspective to TotalOffice given his diverse knowledge base ranging from construction, finance, and business to business relationships. He gives high energy, creativity, and a solution driven approach to any situation.
In his Project Manager role, he oversees a variety of furniture installations and provides all tasks with the same attention and effort. His dedication to service is unmatched and his job is not complete until every item is perfect. He has an eye for precision and he strives for the highest levels of efficiency and quality in all completed projects.
Outside of the office, adrenaline filled activities are what consumes his free time.
Joe brings distinctive capabilities and a unique approach to TotalOffice. He started his career in a sales and service driven role so he understands the importance of complete customer satisfaction. He prides himself on his attention to detail and tireless work ethic.
As a Project Manager, he is the point person on site to ensure a seamless delivery and installation of all furniture. He brings unparalleled customer service to every opportunity; from project conception through completion he is enthusiastic about exceeding client expectations.
Originally from Pennsylvania he is new to Boston and enjoys exploring different parts of the city. Outside of the office, he enjoys networking and cheering for any Philadelphia sports team. He is an avid golfer and loves spending time out on the course.
Jennifer joins TotalOffice with a multitude of experience ranging from the diamond jewelry industry to consulting. She has a remarkable ability to see both the big picture and small details in every project.
As a Project Coordinator at TotalOffice, her versatile skill set and multi-tasking abilities allow her to help from project conception to completion. She works closely with the design and project management teams in offering optimal furniture solutions to fulfill every clients’ vision. Jenn applies her practical mindset in combination with her passion for culture and style, to deliver thoughtful concepts aligning with the project budget and schedule.
When she isn’t hard at work, she loves catching up with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time at the beach.
With over ten years of experience in the fine art and interiors industries, Rebecca brings a passion for Art & Design to TotalOffice. Understanding that the basis of all great projects begins with a strong foundation in design, she works diligently to connect with the A&D community in the early planning stages. With this approach, she ensures the vision of a space comes to fruition seamlessly within budget and on schedule. Rebecca is always on the lookout for new & innovative products and creative ideas that she can share with partners and clients. She recently served as an Ex-Officio Member of the Board of Trustees and Co-Chair of SECA at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Outside of the office, Rebecca can be found attending museum and gallery events, trying out new restaurants in the city, and exploring the outdoors throughout New England.
